Alektra Metro Pakistan
Pakistan’s electric vehicle market just got its biggest boost yet with the launch of the Alektra Metro, now officially the cheapest electric car in the country. With a starting price of just Rs. 1.045 million for the 2 door base variant, the Alektra Metro is set to make eco-friendly transportation far more accessible to the average Pakistani family. The car might be a perfect hit for the people who want to move from a motor bike to a basic electric car.
Developed for city commuting, lower running costs, and easy charging, the Alektra Metro is already turning heads — not only for its price but also for what it offers at that price. Previously some electric cars are launched in Pakistan but the base price for JMEV EV3 and Wuling Binguo is expected to be around Rs. 5 million which is much higher compared to cheapest car in Pakistan. Suzuki Alto costs around Rs. million which makes it cheapest new car in Pakistan.

Two Variants: Metro 2-Door & Metro 4-Door
The company has introduced the Alektra Metro in two configurations:
- Metro 2-Door (Base Model)
Price: Rs. 1.045 million
Battery: 7.2 kWh - Metro 4-Door (Top Variant)
Price: Rs. 1.345 million
Battery: 12.96 kWh
Despite being an ultra-budget EV, both versions look modern, compact, and designed for dense urban traffic — making them ideal for daily office commutes, school runs, and inner-city travel.
Range & Power: Small Battery, Big Savings
While the company hasn’t shared official range numbers yet, early estimates suggest that the 7.2 kWh base battery should offer economical daily driving, while the 12.96 kWh battery in the top variant promises noticeably better mileage per charge.
The good news for consumers?
Charging an EV of this size costs only a fraction of what petrol vehicles demand, making the Metro one of Pakistan’s most cost-efficient cars to own.
Special Launch Offer: Rs. 50,000 Discount
To sweeten the deal further, Alektra has announced a Rs. 50,000 discount on new bookings — a limited-time offer expected to attract a massive number of early buyers.
Delivery Within 90 Days
Another standout point: the company is guaranteeing delivery within 90 days, a rare promise at a time when many new car bookings face long delays due to production issues.

A Big Step for Pakistan’s EV Future
The Alektra Metro’s arrival marks an important moment for Pakistan’s electric mobility sector. With petrol prices soaring and environmental concerns growing, an entry-level EV at this price has the potential to reshape the market.
From affordability to practicality, the Metro ticks many boxes for first-time EV buyers who want to switch to electric without breaking the bank.
